Orange Eye Blue Tiger Shrimp
The Tiger Shrimp has become a favorite in the aquarium industry thanks to the discovery of the unusual Orange Eye Blue Tiger (OEBT) Shrimp. Its blue stripes and unique blue base color, combined with its golden-orange eyes, make it a truly striking sight. The mutation that produces the golden-orange eyes is now so popular that silver-eyed shrimps have become very rare.
CARING -
Caridina shrimp require a lower PH then Neocaridina shrimp. Please ensure your water is up to the correct parameters. We recommend keeping them in hard water with a gH of at least 7 for them to show the most color. Aquarium should be fully cycled before introducing any shrimp. There should be no trace of any Ammonia or Nitrite. Nitrate should be under 25ppm. Weekly or bi-weekly water change of 10-20% is suggested to keep the nitrate low. Feed only 2-3 times a week as overfeeding will cause shrimp death.
