Blue Bolt Shrimp

Blue Bolt Shrimp are aquarium favorites for many hobbyists due to their stunning blue coloration. Since 2009, these hard-to-keep Taiwan bees have been stabilized with the addition of new genetic pools, making them much easier to keep and breed. Blue Bolt shrimp provide a great challenge for experienced hobbyists ready to take their hobby to the next level.

CARING -
Caridina shrimp require a lower PH then Neocaridina shrimp. Please ensure your water is up to the correct parameters. We recommend keeping them in hard water with a gH of at least 7 for them to show the most color. Aquarium should be fully cycled before introducing any shrimp. There should be no trace of any Ammonia or Nitrite. Nitrate should be under 25ppm. Weekly or bi-weekly water change of 10-20% is suggested to keep the nitrate low. Feed only 2-3 times a week as overfeeding will cause shrimp death.
