Bacopa Monnieri

This cultivated variety of the stem plant Bacopa Monnieri displays a more compact growth habit and, under favorable lighting, can almost resemble a creeping plant. By regularly trimming vertical shoots, the plant can be kept at a low and dense growth profile, as it readily produces numerous side shoots.

Additionally, it thrives in the shade of other plants, making it an excellent choice for creating slightly taller carpets or bushy arrangements in the middle or front of the aquarium. However, it should be noted that without the addition of CO2 and in reduced lighting conditions, the plant tends to grow more vertically and become less compact.
